Day 1 Yerevan
Arrival at Zvartnots Airport. Transfer to the hotel in Yerevan. Check in. After rest and breakfast, sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the birthplace of the city – Erebuni Fortress with its museum, Genocide Memorial and Museum. Lunch. Visit History Museum. Optional visit to Yerevan Brandy Factory to see the production and taste Armenian famous brandy. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Northern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for the North-West of Armenia to visit Monastery of Marmashen (10-11 cc). Drive to Giumri. Walking tour of the city. Lunch. En route to Yerevan visit Mastara Church (7 century). Dinner and overnight in Yerevan.
Day 3 Northern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel for 4 nights. Depart for the North of Armenia. Visit the Yezidi (Zoroastrian pastoral community) village of Ria-Taza. Drive further to Debed Gorge to explore World Heritage-listed Monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin. Lunch. Visit Odzun Monastery (6-7 cc). Then drive to the town resort of Dilijan. Check in. Dinner and overnight in Dilijan.
Day 4 Northern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Visit Monasteries of Haghartsin and Goshavank. Drive to Lake Sevan. Lunch. Visit the 9th century Monastery on Sevan Peninsula. Time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Lake Sevan.
Day 5 Southern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and depart for the South of Armenia via Selim mountain pass visiting medieval Selim Caravanserai. Drive further to the South to visit Noravank Monastery (13-14 cc). Lunch. Proceed on to Sisian. Dinner and overnight in Sisian.
Day 6 Southern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Zorats Karer – an ancient observatory near Sisian. Continue to Tatev Monastery (9-13 cc). Explore the magnificent monastery and Satan’s Bridge, a natural land bridge. Lunch. Proceed on to Goris town. Explore caves in Khndzoresk village. Return to Sisian. Dinner and overnight in Sisian.
Day 7 Southern Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Depart for Yerevan. Lunch and wine tasting in Areni village. Continue to Khor Virap Monastery. Enjoy the spectacular view to biblical Ararat. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan.
Day 8 Around Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Garni Temple (1st century AD) and cave monastery of Geghard (4-13 cc). Return to Yerevan. Lunch. Visit Matenadaran – the depository of ancient manuscripts. Time at leisure for private sightseeing or shopping. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Amberd Fortress. Optional short hiking in the gorge of the River Amberd. Proceed to Ashtarak town. Walking tour of Ashtarak. Lunch in a local restaurant. Here you will see how the national Armenian bread ‘lavash’ is baked. After lunch visit Monasteries of Saghmosavank and Hovhanavank. Return to Yerevan. Dinner and overnight.
